Department of Mathematical Physics
Welcome to the Department of Mathematical Physics!
We offer a range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in theoretical physics. In addition, we teach mathematical methods for engineers. You can find more information about the courses we offer on our course pages.
The department's research interests lie in various areas of theoretical and mathematical physics, including elementary particle physics and quantum field theory, dynamical systems, classical and quantum chaos, and quantum computing. More information about our current research interests is available from our research pages or from the home pages of the individual staff members.
